Figma is growing its team of passionate creatives and builders to make design accessible to all. This full-time role can be held from a US hub or remotely in the United States, supporting flagship product performance and AI features across platforms.

You will own high-visibility performance programs, drive observability, CI/CD integration, and work with SaaS systems on AWS, WASM memory, and real-time collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance engineering or TPM roles shipping SaaS performance programs.
• Experience with load, stress, or scalability testing and new-build comparisons.
• Deep web performance knowledge (FCP/LCP), FPS, WASM memory, and mobile profiling.
• CI/CD and test automation integrating performance tests into pipelines.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native distributed systems.
• Hands-on work with LLMs, prompts, or agent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own flagship product performance initiatives across platforms and features.
• Lead cross-org programs: observability/telemetry and safe rollouts.
• Drive performance CI/CD integration and regression testing in pipelines.
