Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Platform Data Engineer to architect and operate the core data infrastructure powering our analytics platform. You will ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across data workflows and platform services.

You will deploy Airflow and Superset in production, manage Terraform-based IaC, and lead data-modeling efforts with DBT/OpenMetadata while mentoring junior engineers and maintaining security and compliance for government-grade data handling.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in infrastructure and data engineering.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer core platform tooling (Airflow, Superset) in production.
• Manage IaC for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows.
• Enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop data models using DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
