Job summary

Construction Association of Michigan seeks a qualified reviewer to assess submitted construction and installation plans for compliance with federal regulations, State statutes and Rules, and adopted building codes. You will provide regulatory and code guidance to department personnel, licensees, local jurisdictions, registrants, contractors, and the public, while maintaining thorough records.

This role supports the Plan Review Manager and other staff, coordinating with agencies and third parties

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Arizona driver's license.
• Certified through a recognized certification program with at least 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of federal regulations, state statutes, rules, and adopted building codes.
• Experience with data gathering and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Review submitted construction and installation plans for compliance with statutes, rules, and codes.
• Provide regulatory and code guidance to department personnel, licensees, local jurisdictions, and the public.
• Maintain reporting, data collection, and record-keeping for plan reviews.
• Collaborate with other agency personnel to ensure program compliance.
