Job summary

Jobot is a boutique plaintiff-side employment litigation practice based in Phoenix, AZ, seeking an attorney to manage employment litigation matters from evaluation through resolution, including trial when necessary. This role is fully remote, allowing Arizona residents or qualified attorneys with an active AZ Bar license to work from anywhere in the U.S.

The position offers a competitive salary of $90,000 to $150,000 per year, fully covered benefits, unlimited PTO, and a performance-based bonus

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
• Arizona residents preferred; out-of-state candidates will be considered.
• 3–5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation experience is required.
• Experience handling wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, or leave-related matters.
• Strong motion practice background, including drafting and arguing substantive motions; trial experience preferred.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical and client-management skills.
• Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fully remote environment with an active caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation from evaluation through resolution, including trial when necessary.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and appear at hearings.
• Represent clients during mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Develop litigation strategy and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the life of each case.
• Perform legal research and prepare persuasive advocacy for state and federal courts.
