Jobot seeks a plaintiff attorney for a fully remote role with a docket that includes personal injuries, wrongful death, and fire litigation. You will work with a Partner, handling research, pleadings, hearings, depositions, and trials while negotiating settlements and advising clients on their legal rights.

The role offers autonomy over cases, 100% remote schedule, and strong support to take cases to trial, with a base salary, bonus potential, 401k match, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in CA.
• Experience as First or Second Chair.
• Experience in plaintiff litigation, focusing on personal injury, wrongful death, and fire litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to settle cases.
• Provide counsel to clients regarding their legal rights and options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.
