NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Senior Specialist for SAP integrations, focusing on PL/I and Unix/Bash scripting in a distributed environment.

The role supports interfaces between Manhattan WMS, SAP, and host systems from a remote location, with offshore collaboration and strong technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in PL/I and Unix/Linux, experience with batch processing, and proven ability to deliver reliable integration solutions while mentoring peers

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of PL/I programming experience in an enterprise integration environment.
• Minimum 8+ years of Unix/Linux operating systems and Bash scripting experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of batch processing, file-based integrations, and job scheduling.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience developing interfaces with Manhattan WMS or SAP S/4 HANA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interfaces between Manhattan WMS, SAP, and host systems using PL/I and Unix-based scripting.
• Lead interface development from the host system perspective and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Analyze integration requirements across batch, near-real-time, and real-time data exchanges.
• Model data mappings, transformations, and control flows for inbound/outbound interfaces.
• Develop and maintain PL/I programs and Unix scripts supporting interface processing and error handling.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure data flow and delivery timelines.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive performance improvements.
• Document designs, data flows, procedures, and runbooks.
