Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a mechanically focused Mechanical Process Engineer for a client in the Brooklyn Park, MN area. The role is primarily remote with periodic in-office visits and up to 25% travel to client sites.

You will edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD and design machines to meet system requirements. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/process engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for process flow diagrams.
• Experience with fluid handling and piping advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems.
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc.
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment
