Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client is seeking a mechanically focused Process Engineer in Brooklyn Park, MN. This role emphasizes fluid handling and AutoCAD-based process flow diagrams, offering mostly remote work with occasional in-office visits and up to 25% travel to client sites.

You will edit 2D diagrams, design and detail machines, and perform flow-related calculations to ensure designs match equipment. A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years’ experience, with AutoCAD proficiency, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience is required
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment
