Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a mechanically focused Mechanical Process Engineer for a client with emphasis on fluid handling and AutoCAD-based process diagrams. The role is largely remote with occasional visits to the Brooklyn Park, MN office and up to 25% travel to client sites.

Responsibilities include editing 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD, equipment design, and pump/valve sizing calculations to ensure designs meet system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience with fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail machines based on system requirements.
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing.
• Visit client locations and verify process flow designs match equipment.
