Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer for a Brooklyn Park, MN role. The position allows mainly remote work with sporadic in-office visits and up to 25% travel to client sites.

A strong background in fluid handling and proficiency in AutoCAD are required to edit 2D process flow diagrams and size pumps/valves as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience and will perform engineering calculations for flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Enjoy doing engineering calculations; past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing, etc.
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, domestically

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc…
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment
