Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) for a permanent full-time remote position. After an induction in Leeds, you will conduct remote PIP assessments, emphasizing clinical reasoning, analysis and detailed written reports rather than direct patient care.

You must hold active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions and have a minimum of 1 year's UK clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Recent clinical experience across a variety of settings.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Excellent report writing and objective, evidence-based decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Conduct telephone and video PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Review clinical records and medical evidence.
• Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues across clinical and administrative teams.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development activities.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
