Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor for a hybrid role in Durham. If you are an NMC-registered nurse or HCPC-registered therapist, you will assess how health conditions affect daily living through PIP functional assessments, supported by structured training.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC registered Therapist
Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports
Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
Attend the assessment centre as required
