Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an OT-PI System expert to administer and enhance the AVEVA PI environment across enterprise-scale operations. You will manage data collection from SCADA/DCS/RTUs/PLCs, improve PI architecture, and coordinate infrastructure upgrades with IT.

The role requires 5+ years of AVEVA PI experience, strong scripting in Python/PowerShell/.NET, and a track record of reliable data integrations and automation. Remote-friendly with US-wide scope.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigation and integration of complex OT systems with PI System.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate IT with stakeholders for infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain technical docs.
