Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks a seasoned AVEVA PI System expert to administer enterprise PI environments, manage data archives, AF, and web interfaces, and drive reliable OT data integration for real-time operations.

You will design automation with Python, PowerShell, and .NET, coordinate with IT and operations, document solutions, mentor junior engineers, and support modernization efforts from a Raleigh-based or remote-enabled position.

Qualifications

• Five+ years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the PI System from OT platforms (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the PI System.
• Administer PI System components including PI Data Archive, Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate with IT and stakeholders to implement upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
