Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Physician Compensation Analyst to provide compensation support and market analysis for the Physician Compensation leadership and related offices. The role involves FMV analyses, survey data weighting and aging, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The position collaborates with multiple teams to model new compensation structures, perform audits, and prepare annual rate updates and financial plans in a remote/work-from-home environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in data manipulation, highly detailed oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Superior computer skills including working knowledge of worksheets, word processing, and data management.
• Creativity, ingenuity, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Analytics, or a business-related field.
• Experience as a compensation analyst.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in approximately 8 salary surveys and analyzes survey data and participates in third-party salary surveys to collect and analyze information on the organization's competitive position.
• Performs Fair Market Value (FMV) analyses and ensures compliance with federal Stark and Anti-Kickback laws and other regulations.
• Reviews physician contracts to ensure appropriate compensation language and supports the provider payroll teams.
• Assists and leads Annual Rate Update and Financial Plan, using market data for budgeting and forecasting.
• Performs ad-hoc data analyses and modeling to support compensation program development.
