Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Physician Coding Educator to lead education in coding and billing compliance for physicians, APPs, and clinical providers to improve workflow and documentation. You will develop and train on content related to coding and charge capture while monitoring ongoing needs.

This role requires collaboration with physician leaders, Compliance, Legal and Finance to advance coding initiatives and ensure accurate revenue capture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience teaching professional coding education and compliance.
• Advanced knowledge of federal regulations and documentation compliance.
• Experience with clinical documentation improvement in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Educate physicians and providers on coding, documentation, and billing practices.
• Develop and implement educational content with adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Practice Leaders and Finance on coding initiatives.
• Monitor training participation and measure learning outcomes.
• Provide feedback and guidance to improve charge capture and documentation.
