Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Physical Security Engineer to lead security plans for data center campuses across the Americas. You will design safeguarded, secure environments and collaborate with security teams to implement robust physical security measures.

The role requires hands-on experience in security planning, AC/DC design standards, and the ability to travel as needed. Strong knowledge of CPTED and PSP certifications is preferred, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of physical security design experience.
• 2+ years of physical security experience in data centers or critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead security plans for physical security components (cameras, access control, barriers) for DC projects.
• Collaborate with AWS security teams to set standards and evaluate costs and benefits of plans.
• Develop security design documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple high-velocity projects concurrently and travel as needed.
