Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to strengthen physical security across our data centers. You will develop post orders, enforce procedures, and drive incident response while coordinating with security vendors and internal teams.

You will monitor access control, CCTV, and security systems, participate in audits, and collaborate with DC Operations to ensure the highest security standards are maintained daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• 1+ years in data center, critical environment, hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment or IT roles.
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical security operations and incident response for data center sites.
• Develop post orders, define security procedures, and test new security technologies.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and oversee security guard operations.
• Conduct site audits, track vulnerabilities, and ensure SLA compliance with vendors.
• Maintain security documentation and reporting for leadership reviews.
