Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an Environmental Phase I Report Writer to deliver Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in support of real estate transactions. You will research, analyze, and document environmental conditions, including regulatory records, historical data, and site observations, ensuring compliance with ASTM E1527-21.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Geography, or related field, at least 2 years’ report-writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, Geography or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience writing Phase I ESA reports under ASTM E1527 standards.
• Willing to travel up to 65% domestically.
• Strong technical writing with ability to produce clear, well-organized reports.
• Proficient at interpreting historical records, maps, aerial photos, and environmental databases.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to ASTM E1527 standards per client requirements.
• Identify environmental concerns through site visits, owner interviews, and records reviews.
• Analyze historical data (aerials, maps, municipal records) to assess risks.
• Review federal, state, and local databases for potential impacts.
• Communicate findings clearly to team members and clients.
• Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality reports on schedule.
