Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Trade Relations & Medication Access Manager to lead strategic relationships with manufacturers, specialty networks, and patient support programs. This remote role supports KY and IN residents, coordinating access initiatives to expand limited distribution networks and improve patient outcomes.

The position interfaces with ambulatory clinics, payer contacts, and internal leadership to optimize specialty pharmacy performance and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Pharmacy Doctorate with license in good standing.
• 3+ years in ambulatory pharmacy or medication access within health systems.
• Experience with specialty medications and manufacturer programs.
• Knowledge of payer contracting and limited distribution networks.
• Familiarity with URAC and ACHC accreditation standards.
• MBA/MHA or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers and reps.
• Identify opportunities for inclusion in limited distribution drug networks.
• Coordinate business reviews and strategic planning meetings.
• Monitor network requirements and performance.
• Collaborate on manufacturer contracting opportunities.
• Oversee medication access workflows (benefits investigation, prior auth, appeals, financial assistance).
• Track access metrics and improve referral pathways.
• Support patient support programs and HUB participation.
• Ensure accreditation requirements are met.
• Escalate complex access issues with payers and providers.
