Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a fully remote role with Peaks Regional Office, Colorado. You will support medication adherence and patient outcomes through outreach, refill coordination, and collaboration with pharmacists.

You must reside in Colorado with an active Pharmacy Technician license. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm MST; compensation ranges from $20.73 to $31.58 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician license in the state of practice (Colorado).
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or at least two years of experience.
• Experience in value-based care or medication management settings preferred.
• Outpatient or Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pharmacists to manage medications, improve adherence, and address medication-related issues that impact patient health.
• Support interventions aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.
• Assist in medication reconciliation during transitions of care.
• Work to improve medication adherence by contacting patients and addressing barriers.
• Collect and analyze data related to medication use, adherence, and outcomes to identify trends.
• Coordinate care with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about medications, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
• Generate reports on medication adherence, therapeutic outcomes, and related metrics to track progress.
