Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a fully remote role focused on improving medication adherence and patient outcomes. Candidates must reside in Colorado and hold an active Pharmacy Technician license.

The position schedules Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm MST, with a 40-hour work week. Experience in Medicare Stars is a plus; the role collaborates with pharmacists and care teams to optimize medication use.

Qualifications

• Completion of pharmacy technician training program or at least two years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to manage medications, improve adherence, and address medication-related issues that impact the overall health of a population.
• Monitors medication adherence, identifying gaps in care, and supporting interventions aimed at improving health outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.
• Assists in medication reconciliation, ensuring patients have accurate medication lists, especially during transitions of care.
• Works to improve medication adherence by contacting patients, providing education, and addressing barriers to taking medications as prescribed.
• Generates reports on medication adherence, therapeutic outcomes, and other relevant metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
