Minimum of one year related experience as Pharmacy Technician.
Proficient in math and computer use.

Responsibilities

Performs benefit investigations and documents results in patient chart.
Submits prior authorizations to insurance via online/phone methods.
Communicates eligibility and coverage details to providers and patients.
Performs follow-up calls regarding insurance decisions, rejections, and prescription info.
Maintains inventory of medications and coordinates delivery with Home Delivery pharmacy.
Assists in quality improvement projects and maintains a clean work area.
