Job summary

Geisinger Health seeks a senior pharmacy leader to provide comprehensive oversight of pharmacy services across designated areas. You will mentor staff, lead strategic development, and coordinate patient care across the continuum within a clinical environment.

Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required; Doctoral degree preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and collaboration with physicians and administrators to optimize medication use and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree-Pharmacy required; Doctoral Degree-Pharmacy preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacist (Pennsylvania) as an active license.
• Minimum of 7 years of related work experience required; minimum of 5 years managing people, processes, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy practice, medication use process, and transitions of care for Geisinger patients.
• Mentor and motivate staff; provide leadership to teams.
• Ensure patient-centered, effective, and optimized care across pharmacy services.
• Model engagement and positive team dynamics for staff.
• Evaluate current practice and plan new programs; advise leadership on opportunities.
• Support pharmacist provider and pharmacy technician integration into the health care team.
