Job summary

Medix is seeking a Customer Experience / Member Advocate to join a fast-paced pharmacy benefit team for the peak season. This remote contract role focuses on high-quality interactions helping members navigate prescription eligibility, prior authorizations, and general pharmacy benefit inquiries.

Responsibilities include handling calls, emails, and chats; liaising between members, pharmacies, and prescribers; researching complex inquiries; and providing empathetic, concierge-level support.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong verbal and written communication with de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and chat with members and providers.
• Assist with prescription eligibility, claims, and prior authorizations.
• Serve as liaison to resolve coverage and access issues promptly.
• Research complex inquiries across multiple systems with clear documentation.
• Provide concierge-level support with empathy and effective de-escalation.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize caller experience.
