CommuniCare Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the PBM Services Pharmacy Concierge team by coordinating alternative sourcing for patients and members nationwide. The role focuses on timely, cost-effective access to medications through non-traditional channels, with remote work from 11am–7pm.

You will liaise with patients, providers, pharmacies, and PBM teams, verify sourcing channels, and help prepare cost comparisons and reports while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a pharmacy technician or care coordination role.
• PBM or specialty pharmacy experience required.
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit structures and prior authorization processes.
• Experience helping patients access financial, community and/or pharmaceutical resources.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate alternative sourcing for non-covered or high-cost meds.
• Prepare cost comparisons, savings estimates, and invoices.
• Document outcomes and patient preferences in the case management system.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Represent the department in meetings and events.
• Support workflow refinements to improve patient experience.
