Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Customer Care Associate to support the Retail Customer Care Call Center in Rhode Island. The role offers training and a path to full-time, either from home in select states or on-site at the Cumberland, RI office, assisting patients with pharmacy needs and enrolling them in pharmacy services.

You will handle inbound calls, record orders, and provide status updates while delivering outstanding service per SOPs.

Qualifications

• Resident of Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas or Vermont.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in state of residence.
• Ability to obtain Pharmacy Technician licensure in Rhode Island via application form and fee (formal training not required).
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Proficient to advanced PC skills required including MS Windows‑based applications.
• Ability to complete all required training programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with their pharmacy needs and enroll patients in various pharmacy services to improve levels of care.
• Receive inbound calls from CVS retail pharmacies, provide order status information as requested.
• Record all non‑preferred drug orders and ensure delivery of outstanding customer service in line with SOPs.
