Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a Pharmacy Charging Coordinator to oversee drug charging and pricing contract integrity for UK Healthcare Pharmacy services across multiple hospitals. You will ensure accurate billing by aligning medication administration, supply utilization, and patient charges.

The role requires 5+ years in pharmacy billing, PTCE or ExCPT certification, and Kentucky board registration within 30 days.

Qualifications

• AA degree required or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in pharmacy billing/revenue integrity
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCE or ExCPT) and KY Board registration within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain charging/workflow integrity across UK Healthcare Pharmacy services
• Monitor charging workflows and identify discrepancies with operations and clinical teams
• Ensure pricing accuracy and contract alignment; recover overcharges and validate contract configurations
