Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Support Analyst for a remote role supporting patients through Patient Assistance Programs using Atrix Assistance software.

You will work with patients, providers, and manufacturers to secure medication coverage for uninsured or underinsured individuals, helping reduce medication costs and support cost-containment efforts. Responsibilities

• Identify patients who may qualify for Patient Assistance Programs and determine eligibility.
• Complete, submit, and manage applications for medication assistance programs.
• Recover medication costs for eligible patients who do not have third-party prescription coverage.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and hospital staff.
• Educate patients, physicians, and healthcare staff on program requirements, processes, and available resources.
• Maintain regular communication with patients, nurses, physicians, social workers, pharmacy personnel, and pharmaceutical representatives.
• Resolve application issues, denials, and missing documentation to help secure approvals.
• Research and identify alternative assistance resources for patients who do not qualify for manufacturer programs, including charitable organizations and community resources.
• Discuss available medication options with providers and patients based on program availability and access.
• Track and report recovered medication value for billing and program performance purposes.
• Ensure all patient information is handled in compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare system contacts to ensure program success and high-quality service.
