Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacist Operations Manager (PIC) to lead our specialty mail pharmacy operations. You will oversee dispensing workflows, RPh verification, and patient service while ensuring compliance with federal/state laws and accreditation standards.

Lead a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, drive quality and safety programs, and coordinate audits and regulatory communications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist licensure; reciprocity may be required.
• 5+ years as a licensed Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily specialty mail pharmacy fulfillment operations, including dispensing, RPh verification, shipping, cold-chain handling, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state pharmacy laws and accreditation standards (URAC/ACHC), HIPAA, and SOPs.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, coaching, engagement and performance management for pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
• Drive quality and safety programs: medication error prevention, CAPA, and continuous process improvement.
• Oversee inventory management for specialty drugs, REMS programs, and hazardous drugs handling; maintain cold-chain integrity.
• Develop procedures for packing, shipping, temperature excursions, and returns; monitor KPIs and implement improvements.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service levels; prepare for audits/inspections; ensure regulatory readiness.
