Placements24 is assisting a client in identifying a strategic Pharmaceutical Business Development Manager for a fully remote role in the United States. The position targets growth through licensing, co-development, and strategic partnerships, requiring a seasoned BD leader with deep pharma/biotech knowledge.

Candidates should have an MBA or relevant scientific Master’s degree, at least 5 years in BD or corporate development, and a proven ability to close complex deals.

Qualifications

• MBA or relevant Master’s in science field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in business development or corporate development within pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing complex deals.
• Strong understanding of drug development, market dynamics, and IP.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate BD opportunities, including licensing, co-development, and partnerships.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth areas and targets.
• Build and maintain a network within pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
• Lead negotiations for complex agreements aligned with objectives and financial targets.
• Develop business cases and presentations to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D, commercial, and legal teams throughout the deal process.
