Job summary

Clutch is seeking an Art Supervisor or ACD, Art – Pharma to lead the visual evolution of pharmaceutical brands. This remote role (EST) offers an hourly rate between $40 and $65, DOE. You will translate clinical data into compelling visual narratives and oversee multichannel campaigns.

You will collaborate with Copy Supervisors to ensure medical accuracy, present work to senior clients, and mentor junior designers, guiding craft and concept across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 4 years of art direction in a pharmaceutical advertising agency.
• Portfolio demonstrating HCP or DTC pharma work.
• Expertise in multichannel campaign development and execution.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; familiarity with pharma timelines.
• Collaborative spirit with ability to lead multiple workstreams.
• Strong portfolio of pharmaceutical samples for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the creative lead for visual evolution and execution of pharma brands.
• Translate clinical data into compelling, digestible visual narratives.
• Oversee end-to-end creative development of multichannel campaigns.
• Collaborate with Copy Supervisors to ensure medical accuracy and alignment with the platform.
• Present work to senior clients, explaining strategic visual decisions.
• Direct and mentor junior art directors and designers.
• Partner with production and digital teams to optimize output for each channel.
• Navigate MLR review, designing visuals that meet compliance without sacrificing impact.
