Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer in our Industrial Remediation Practices group to support remediation system design, soil and groundwater investigations, and related projects. The role requires strong management, data handling, and effective communication with engineers, scientists, and clients.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, FE/EIT or PE, PFAS exposure, and 10+ years in environmental consulting, with travel up to 20-30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• FE or EIT certification is required.
• Masters degree or PhD in Civil or environmental engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead remediation system design and oversee operations.
• Manage soil and groundwater investigations and reporting.
• Provide technical input and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, and client communications.
