Rutter Mills LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our trial attorneys in Virginia. This remote, full-time role focuses on personal injury cases, requiring strong organizational skills and independence to manage deadlines and communicate effectively with the team.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in PI litigation, familiarity with Virginia court rules and e-filing, and experience coordinating case documents, depositions, and settlements in a digital, remote environment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in personal injury litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Virginia court rules, civil procedure, and e-filing.
• Proven ability to manage caseloads with accuracy and organization.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines, including statutes of limitations.
• Review medical records and liens; negotiate lien reductions as part of resolution.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, settlements, and related case documentation.
• Assist trial preparation with exhibits, witnesses, and courtroom logistics.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, providers, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia court rules and e-filing requirements.
