Job summary

Lateam Partners is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a U.S.-based personal injury practice. The role focuses on managing PI cases through discovery, pleadings, medical records review, and trial preparation, with an emphasis on active case management in a remote work setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in PI litigation, strong organization, and excellent written and verbal communication. Florida experience and federal court exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in Personal Injury litigation.
• Hands-on experience working on cases that progressed into litigation, not pre-litigation.
• Experience with medical records retrieval and review.
• Experience preparing and organizing discovery, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Experience managing and organizing case files, client documentation, and litigation materials.
• Strong understanding of litigation workflows, deadlines, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Personal Injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring files, deadlines, and documents are up to date.
• Maintain and organize client documents, discovery materials, medical records, and other case-related documentation.
• Assist with drafting and preparing discovery, pleadings, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Analyze, review, organize, and summarize legal documents and medical records.
• Coordinate and communicate with experts, witnesses, medical providers, clients, and other parties in active cases.
• Support attorneys with deposition, hearings, mediations, and trials.
