Job summary

Briefcase Legal Support, LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with U.S. personal injury litigation experience to support our PI practice on a remote, independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for someone based outside the U.S. who has prior experience assisting U.S.

PI attorneys and can align with overlapping U.S. work hours. The position involves administrative and case support, drafting and organizing pleadings and discovery, and coordinating with clients,

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting U.S. personal injury litigation.
• Experience working remotely for a U.S.-based law firm.
• Bilingual English and Spanish abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and case support to attorneys handling personal injury matters.
• Support cases through active litigation.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and case materials.
• Assist with discovery and track requests and responses.
• Monitor case deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other important dates.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
• Communicate professionally with clients and counsel.
