Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in Personal Injury litigation.
• Experience with cases that have progressed to litigation, not only pre-litigation.
• Experience with medical records retrieval and review.
• Experience drafting and organizing discovery, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Strong case management and calendar control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage Personal Injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring case files, deadlines, and documentation remain organized and up to date.
• Maintain and organize client documents, discovery materials, medical records, and other case-related documentation.
• Assist with drafting and preparing discovery, pleadings, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Analyze, review, organize, and summarize legal documents and medical records.
• Request, retrieve, and follow up on outstanding medical records and related documentation from healthcare providers.
• Assist with subpoenas and other records-related requests as required during litigation.
• Support attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Assist with the identification and vetting of witnesses and experts.
• Coordinate and communicate with experts, witnesses, medical providers, clients, and other parties involved in active cases.
• Maintain accurate case information, calendars, deadlines, and litigation materials.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and ensure required documentation and evidence are properly organized and accessible.
• Manage multiple active matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
