Jobot is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Defense Attorney to join our growing team. This is a permanent position offering an opportunity to handle complex catastrophic injury cases with a strong track record expected in litigation and settlements.

The role supports 100% remote, hybrid, or onsite work options and includes a competitive salary range of $180,000–$280,000 per year, plus multiple bonus programs and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury defense.
• Proven track record of litigating and settling personal injury cases.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret complex legal information.
• Proficient in legal research software and case management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a case from inception to conclusion, including drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence, ensuring a solid defense strategy.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
• Confer with colleagues to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
• Act as an advocate for clients in legal proceedings, representing them in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations before courts, judges, and other authorities.
