Job summary

Job Duck LLC is seeking an experienced Virtual Case Manager to support personal injury cases from intake to settlement. Work remotely from the United States, coordinating medical and insurance matters and keeping attorneys informed of case developments.

You will handle discovery, prepare and organize documents, manage deadlines, and communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and courts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or similar in a personal injury firm.
• Experience supporting personal injury cases from intake through settlement or resolution.
• Familiarity with medical records, bills, and insurance procedures.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Comfort working remotely with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Keep attorneys and the legal team informed of important case developments.
• Draft correspondence, emails, and other legal documents as requested.
• Organize settlement documents and assist with case closing activities.
• Assist with calculating and documenting firm expenses as cases approach settlement.
• Maintain records of liens and related correspondence.
• Obtain supporting information from clients and third parties.
• Gather documents for discovery responses and assist with discovery packets.
• Review medical records and identify relevant information for the team.
• Prepare and submit discovery requests and responses.
• Organize medical treatment records and appointments tracking.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding medical and insurance matters.
• Support client intake and onboarding with initial paperwork.
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Track treatment progress and follow up on records and bills.
