Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to conduct initial intake and crisis consultation, coordinating perinatal behavioral health care to improve patient outcomes.

Reporting to the Behavioral Health Lead, you’ll collaborate with obstetricians, APPs, nurses, care coordinators and therapists; develop individualized care plans; provide psychoeducation; monitor progress; and advocate for patient autonomy in a remote continental-US role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hospital or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations.
• Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing or perinatal mental health.
• Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial intake and crisis consultation to support perinatal behavioral health care.
• Conduct risk assessments and triage based on urgency and severity.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, APPs, nurses, care coordinators and therapists.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about perinatal mental health.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Advocate for patients' rights and autonomy, dignity in care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
