Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking an Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse for night shift (12a-9a ET, Tue-Fri) to deliver remote behavioral health support to perinatal patients across the US.

You will conduct initial risk assessments, collaborate with obstetricians and therapists, develop individualized care plans, provide psychoeducation, monitor progress, and advocate for patient-centered care in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multi-state compact license

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient risk assessments and triage based on urgency.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, APPs, nurses, care coordinators and therapists.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about perinatal mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Advocate for patients' rights and ensure that care is delivered in a way that respects their autonomy and dignity.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in perinatal mental health nursing.
