Job summary

IBM Corporation in Bellevue, WA seeks an Application Developer to lead performance testing efforts across full-stack Java applications. You will design non-functional test plans, execute load and endurance tests, and validate throughput and latency in cloud and on-prem environments.

You’ll monitor server performance with Dynatrace, log defects with Jira, participate in agile ceremonies, and produce status reports and test closure documents to support release readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree.
• 1 year of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer, DevOps Engineer or related role; experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, Jira, Rally, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed non-functional test plans using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Design and document performance test cases and scripts to validate throughput, latency and stability.
• Execute load, stress, scalability, and endurance tests.
• Monitor server-side performance with Dynatrace and analyze metrics to identify bottlenecks.

Education

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Systems
