Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Risk Management professional for a remote, full-time role with up to 50% travel. You’ll work with leadership to define data needs and manage change initiatives across financial, operational, and clinical domains.

Responsibilities include identifying tools and training, overseeing project teams, ensuring resource availability, and maintaining the management plan. You’ll monitor plans, reporting, issue resolution, and communications to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certification specializing in Lean Healthcare Mgmt preferred; licensure required relevant to state.
• Project Management Professional preferred; licensure required relevant to state.
• Registered Nurse preferred; licensure required relevant to state.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Additional preferences: Bachelor's degree; experience in performance improvement; Lean (green or black belt) or quality (CPHQ) certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define financial, operational, and clinical data necessary for evaluating change initiatives.
• Identify steps, tools, and training necessary to implement a process or structural change.
• Oversee functioning of assigned projects/project teams and for collaborating with executive leadership to access necessary resources.
• Manage resources, process and quality assurance of projects within scope of responsibility.
• Develop and update the ongoing management plan.
• Monitor and ensure that detailed project plans, reporting mechanisms, issue resolution processes, and communications are timely and meet quality guidelines.
