Optum is seeking a Per Diem Virtual Therapist (Remote) in Rhode Island to deliver evidence-based, remote behavioral health care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and provide treatment, coordination, and documentation through an EHR, while upholding HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related counseling field.
• Current, active and unrestricted license in Rhode Island (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT).
• Ability to maintain 15–19 hours per week remotely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote measurement-informed care through evidence-based models.
• Monitor participant progress and document session notes.
• Coordinate care resources and obtain necessary consents.
• Identify and respond to high-risk situations per protocol.
• Attend supervisor meetings, trainings, and town halls.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and complete annual training.
