Job summary

The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks a collaborative PeopleSoft Systems Administrator (ERP Administrator II) for a fixed-term role supporting PeopleSoft infrastructure across the UW enterprise. The position emphasizes automation, standardization, and cross-team collaboration, with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP applications
Configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft ERP software
Diagnose and resolve complex problems with application and database infrastructure
Produce clear technical documentation for non-technical customers
Collaborate with customers to translate concepts into accessible language

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test ERP objects; define user requirements and perform configuration, change management, and testing activities
Troubleshoot ERP hardware, software, and system issues that affect ERP functionality
Create and update access permissions; maintain ERP security through user profile management
Recommend and participate in ERP enhancements or changes including custom or third-party products
Plan, coordinate, and implement system-wide updates, upgrades, and patches for ERP systems
Design, configure, monitor, and maintain performance metrics and take corrective actions
