Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise systems programming experience.
• 8+ years SQL database experience; quick learner of new technologies.
• 4+ years ERP experience.
• Proven ability to lead small teams and build consensus.
• Strong problem-solving using creativity and multiple information sources.
• Excellent communication skills for complex information.
• Web design, HTML, and CSS.
• ANSI SQL experience.
• Experience with multi-tier applications.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft.
• Nice-to-have Java or C#, and knowledge of GL, AP, AM, PO, TE modules; SQL Server, Oracle, and related platforms; insurance domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources, and develop detailed work plans.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define business requirements and lead user acceptance testing for application updates and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations, including requirements, technical design documents, and test plans.
• Manage up to four employees for a project or system, coach and mentor team members, and maintain team performance.
• Create documentation and lead architecture reviews.
• Develop estimates and capacity plans for support and projects.
• Manage operational efficiency scorecards for supported systems.
• Pursue continuous quality improvements and collaborate with vendors on multi-year roadmaps.
• Create and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes.
• Recommend improvements and apply standards, processes, and procedures for enterprise systems.
