Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Project Manager for People Operations and Insights to drive delivery across HR and cross-functional initiatives. You will manage projects end-to-end, partner with legal, finance, engineering and leadership, and ensure governance, risk mitigation and timely delivery.

The role offers hybrid work in the US, with a base salary range of $127,600 to $191,400 and a set of benefits including equity, 401(k), and wellness stipends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, with at least 2 years in an HR team.
• Proven ability to navigate complexity and drive results with urgency and thoughtfulness.
• Experience cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech and Leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas clearly to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in PM tools (Asana, Jira, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Tackle hard, ambiguous questions with rigor and independence, owning projects from problem definition to final recommendation.
• Develop and implement project plans, optimize workflows and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and engineering to improve processes and controls.
• Establish and maintain project governance, ensuring activities align with standards and milestones.
• Prepare materials to present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the People team.
