Job summary

Sandbox VR is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with leaders and drive people strategies across our remote US workforce. The role focuses on employee relations, policy development, and compliance, ensuring a positive employee experience while aligning with business goals.

You will collaborate with the People Team to design training, manage leaves, and coach leaders on performance and development, supporting Sandbox VR's growth and remote culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced, remote-friendly organization is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as a tactical partner to business stakeholders regarding initiatives and employee relations concerns.
• Manage FMLA, CFRA, state leaves, eligibility determinations, and return-to-work timelines.
• Oversee reasonable accommodations and leave requests with stakeholders to implement effective plans.
• Coach managers on policies, communication, development and performance management to promote engagement.
• Lead and design training programs with People Team centers of expertise to add value.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures as needed.
