Job summary

General Motors is seeking a People Analytics Analyst to join our People Analytics Center of Excellence. You will be deployed across business units, partnering with consultants to deliver insights that inform talent decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.

You’ll leverage analytics to advance capabilities, communicate findings to executives, and contribute to strategies shaping employee experience at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of client-facing People Analytics or Human Capital Consulting.
• Quantitative degree in Math, Statistics, IO Psychology or HR preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, R or Python.
• Understanding of HR data and employee lifecycle processes.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex people data and deliver clear, actionable insights to support strategic talent decisions across multiple business units.
• Work independently to determine the best analytical approach for each project, collaborating with People Analytics Consultants.
