Job summary

Niural is seeking a PEO Underwriter to evaluate, price, and manage risk for new and renewing PEO groups within a co-employment framework. You will work end-to-end on submissions, validate census data, analyze claims trends, and prepare pricing rationales for internal stakeholders and carriers.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in health insurance underwriting or related analytics, strong data skills, and the ability to collaborate with brokers, compliance, BenOps, and payroll teams in a remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related analytical field.
• 1–3 years in health insurance underwriting or related analytics roles.
• Strong data accuracy and quality focus.
• Proficient with large census files and spreadsheet analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Submission Review: prioritize underwriting requests and review census data, invoices, and plan designs.
• Data Validation & Risk Assessment: audit census data, validate rates, and analyze credibility/trend factors.
• Pricing & Underwriting Decisions: develop pricing recommendations aligned with targets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with brokers, sales, and compliance teams to avoid delays.
• Operational Excellence: maintain audit trails and ensure PHI data security.
